Kitsap History Museum Announces 2019 Heritage Families.

Kitsap County Historical Society Museum is pleased to announce the families to be honored at the 9th annual Heritage Family Celebration. The event will take place October 11, 2019 at the Gold Mountain Golf Club. To be selected for this honor each family must have resided in Kitsap County for 100 years or more, have family members currently residing in Kitsap County and have made significant community contributions. The six families are: The Hein Family, the Cline Family, the Johnson Family, the Keith, McPherson, Mitchell Family, the Oligario Family, and the Tenander and Karen Iversen Family.

The mission of the Kitsap County Historical Society is to collect, preserve, and exhibit the diverse culture, heritage, and history of Kitsap County for the education and enjoyment of the public.
