Historic Sign Preservation

What historic or iconic signs represent the character of the City of Bremerton? The Bremerton Comprehensive Plan has a policy to consider recognition, preservation, and repair of historic storefronts and signage - that emphasize quintessential elements from our past in areas such as Downtown, Manette, and Charleston. You’re invited to submit your nominations before November 16th to Kelli Lambert, Planner, at kelli.lambert@bremertonwa.gov. Include a photo if possible, and comments about why you think a particular sign should be preserved. Then, please attend the November Planning Commission Meeting to discuss ways to preserve these landmarks that represent Bremerton on November 19th at 5:30 PM, Council Chambers, Norm Dicks Government Center at 345 6th Street, Bremerton.
