Washington Avenue and 11th Street Improvements Virtual Open House

You're Invited! Join us for a Virtual Open House on Thursday, May 6 from 5PM-6PM to learn about upcoming improvements to Washington Avenue and 11th Street.

As part of the Washington Avenue and 11th Street project, the city will be replacing the stop light with a roundabout at the west end of the Manette Bridge, reconstructing the roadway on 11th to add bike lanes, widen sidewalks, improve street lighting, upgrade water main, and add disability accessibility improvements between the Manette Bridge and Pacific Avenue.

The plan completes Mayor Wheeler’s strategic effort to link projects together in order to expand connectivity for walking and biking between Evergreen Park, Lions Park and the Bremerton ferry terminal. Additionally, the revision will help improve traffic flow in the downtown core during commuting hours.
