Employers Drawn to Downtown
Affordable and Accessible - Growth Opportunities Abound
Now is the time to consider expanding or relocating your company to Bremerton. Startup businesses and growing firms are realizing value for their investment. With the influx of businesses moving here, developers investing in Downtown, building renovation projects, and the new fast foot ferry, the timing couldn't be better. They can all take advantage of the reasonably priced rents for Class A and B space in historic and traditional office or retail space. Buildings are close to transit, ferry terminal, restaurants, cultural, entertainment amenities, and educational institutions.
Employers will be especially attracted to the talent produced at Olympic College, recognized as one of the top 10 rated community colleges in the nation. They have also teamed up with Washington State University, University of Washington, and Western Washinton University to offer 4 year degrees.
Fast Ferry
Better than Dominos - Takes 30 Minutes or Less
The Fast Ferry began in July of this year, making its runs between Bremerton and Seattle, and cutting the past commute time in half. Now Kitsap residents will get to their jobs faster, as well as allowing for current and new businesses in Bremerton to attract talent from Seattle, being a quick ferry ride away. Since the new ferry is a shorter commute trip from downtown Seattle to Bremerton, where houses are available for $200,000, these lower home prices and quality of life attract commuters looking for an affordable change. Fast and frequent transportation across the Sound will contribute to the City’s growth strategy, and will speed the growing flow of talent and capital between Bremerton and Seattle.
