City of Bremerton Responds to Coronavirus
City suspends late payment fees, interest for delayed business tax filings
Bremerton, WA (March 19, 2020) – The City of Bremerton is actively working to reduce the financial burden and impacts of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on Bremerton residents and businesses during this unprecedented time.
**Mayor Greg Wheeler announced the following changes for the City of Bremerton effective today, Thursday, March 19, 2020**
The City of Bremerton Tax and Licensing Division is assisting business owners to help meet their tax obligations in a flexible manner. In response to COVID-19, the City’s Tax and Licensing Division will waive late payment fees and interest for businesses that fail to file taxes and renew their license as a result of the coronavirus.
To seek a waiver of penalties due to COVID-19, please contact the City of Bremerton Tax and Licensing Division:
