Mayor Greg Wheeler Selects Recipients for 2020 Mayor’s Youth Leadership Award

Mayor Greg Wheeler is proud to announce the selection of Isabella Meyer and Brianna Heriford for the 2020 Mayor’s Youth Leadership Award. Meyer received first place and a $250 scholarship award. Heriford received second place and a $200 scholarship.

“Both students were outstanding and I’m pleased to present first and second place awards this year for 2020,” said Mayor Greg Wheeler.

As the first place recipient, Meyer’s application was eligible for the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Center for Quality Communities scholarship, which recognizes exceptional students nominated by cities statewide.
