She has been a page in the Washington state legislature where she helped write and present legislation, and has been actively involved in leadership and other activities at Bremerton High School and in the community. Her goal is to become a lawyer – where she aspires to make a real difference in the lives of others -- and eventually become a judge, supporting her community.
Ramstad has also been involved in leadership roles in student government, the Bremerton School District Board, and at the state level; been an active volunteer and a student leader in the community, and has advocated for young students’ academic needs. She believes that educational spaces should empower the learning of students and aspires to be an architect specializing in the design of schools and educational institutions.
As the first place recipient, Kibbe’s application was eligible for the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Center for Quality Communities scholarship, which recognizes exceptional students nominated by cities statewide.
